3Axis Micro-Milling

 - 3Dimensional Micro EDM Milling(scanning EDM)

 - Micro-Electrical Discharge Drilling using Pipe Electrode with High Perssure Flushing

 - Hoizontal/Vertical Micro-Wire Electrical Discharge Machining(μ-WEDM)

 - Micro-Electro Chemical Machining(μ-WEDM)

 - Micro-Wire Electrical Discharge Grinding(μ-WEDM)

 - 3Dimensional Coordinate Measurement Machine(CMM) Feature using Contact Probe



v   Effective Machining / Working Volume


    To accommodate the job having the following maximum volume

    X-Axis: 550 mm

    Y-Axis: 250 mm

    Z-Axis: 100 mm

    - EDM Tanks: 300 mm x 220 mm (OIL) + 220mm x 220mm (WATER)

    - ECM Tank: 280 mm x 180 mm (Electrolyte)

    - EDM tanks and ECM tank are reconfigurable

    - Absolute maximum travel: (X) 305 mm (Y) 105 mm (Z) 105 mm 


 

v   Machine Table Travel Accuracies

 

      - Position accuracy (Tp) : better than 5 micron for the entire range in all axes

      - Repeatability of 2 micron or better for all three ax

      - Optical linear scale with resolution of 0.1mm for fully closed feedback control

      - Zero backlash ball screw drive system using AC servo motors


 

v   Motion Controller

   

     - Deta Tau PMAC-Lite (“Clipper”)motion controller

     - GUI control software running on Windows operating system

     - Panel PC with touch screen for easy operation


 

v   On-machine Measurement


     - Optical microscope to visualize the work zone with magnification of 10

       (objective lens) X 20(eyepiece)

     - ACCD camera which can be mounted on the above microscope to visualize

       tool/ workpiece mounted on spindle
